The District of West Vancouver has applied for $1.85 million in grants from the provincial and federal governments towards a $2.5-million restoration of the Ferry Building on the Ambleside waterfront.
The project would entail moving the heritage structure to higher ground and raising it to protect it from rising sea levels.
