Orpheum 90: 1927-2017

Vancouver Civic Theatres is organizing a special 1920s-themed event on November 24, 2017 to mark the Orpheum Theatre’s 90th anniversary. Join CBC radio host Bill Richardson and the VSO's Maestro Bramwell Tovey for an evening of celebration, silent film, and live vaudeville in a tribute to this National Historic Site.

An Evening with Sir Henry Fraser

The North Shore Heritage Preservation Society invites you to an evening with Sir Henry Fraser.

Senator Professor Emeritus Sir Henry Fraser, K.A. BSc. MBBS, PhD, FACP, FRCP was born in Barbados. In addition to his career in medicine, Sir Henry is an honored heritage preservationist, writer, artist, and TED speaker. He will speak on his experiences fighting for the retention of the Barbados and Caribbean communities’ built heritage…. from prominent landmarks to humble cabins.
